- a consciou and self-determined farewell culture
- Authenticity, creativity and high quality craftsmanship
- Ecological sustainability
There are various options from which you can choose. You can
- order a hand-painted urn from the range
- order a single piece with your desired design
- order a larger quantity or small series
Individual urn from the range
- Each urn is handmade by me.
- Therefore, urns of the same model do not look identical, but have individual characteristics and small differences in color and design.
- Urns that are marked as unique pieces are unique in shape and color, but can be reworked in a similar way.
- I am constantly developing new models – please check the store from time to time to see what’s new.

Personalized urn with your own motif
- You can choose a unique piece that is made according to your personal wishes.
- We will discuss your ideas and when you need the urn by phone or video call.
- The beauty of a custom-made urn is that special requests can also be taken into account. With a custom urn, your ideas of colors, motifs or text can be implemented to tell the life and personal story of your loved one.
- The production of an individual urn according to your ideas takes some time. We will therefore agree the delivery time together.

Urn Models
You can choose between organic bio urns (natural material), ceramic (clay | loam) or wood.
If you wish, an urn you bring or send to me can also be used for custom-made urns. Provided that the material of the urn of your choice is suitable to be painted or otherwise decorated. This usually works well with natural materials such as clay or loam, wood, stone, paper or liquid wood.
The bio and clay urns can accommodate all standard ash capsules, while the wooden urns require an ash bag. All urns come with natural cord burial cords.
Stillborn children and infants
These urns are designed for stillborn children and infants. Very small star children can also be buried in them.
If you would like a burial container other than an urn, I can also design and paint this for you. The same goes for the designs, if you want a particular picture, a name, or the imprint of little hands or feet.
It can be very good to paint, label or stick things on yourself. Sometimes this works by itself and is the best thing you can do. And sometimes it’s good to have someone at your side to give you emotional and practical support. Feel free to contact me if you need support.

Tree-Burial | FriedWald
All bio urns are approved for use in tree burials at FriedWald GmbH. They can also be used for all other natural burial sites such as forest cemeteries or resting forests.
The model for adults is compatible with the Friedwald Ginko ash capsule.
The model for children is a combination urn and does not require an extra ash capsule.
The clay and wooden urns are not approved for cemetery burials.
Ecological sustainability
The decorative urns are environmentally sustainable and 100% biodegradable.
They are also suitable for natural burial in a resting forest or forest cemetery, as they dissolve into the soil without releasing toxins. The use of eco-friendly urns is generally required in forest burials.
I use environmentally friendly and sustainable paints and materials for the design.
The raw urns are primed with chalk paint. Depending on the design, I use acrylic, gouache or watercolor paints, materials such as gold leaf, paper or flowers and grasses, and solvent-free glue to paint and design the urns.
Finally, the urns are coated with a layer of natural wax to protect them from scratches and moisture. Because natural wax is used for the finish rather than artificial varnish, not all urns are completely waterproof. For example, urns decorated with paper or watercolors should not be left unprotected in the rain.

As colorful as life itself
Colorful Urns – the idea of designing urns that are contemporary, beautiful, sustainable, and most of all, and above all that people like to look at came about when my father passed away. At the time, I couldn’t find an urn that met my desire for personality, authenticity and contemporary aesthetics. I designed the urn and then the headstone myself – processes that also helped me in my grieving process.
I am happy if I can contribute something today to make the farewell for your loved one kind and personal.
Each person and each journey through life is unique and special. In my experience, it is beautiful and good for us to be able to incorporate some of that specialness into the farewell.
That’s why a decorative urn does not have to be smooth and perfect. It can bear individual traces, just as we humans do. It can be as colorful or puristic as life itself. And it can tell something about the life of the deceased.

Perhaps you would prefer to do it yourself?
I would be happy to help you paint or design an urn or coffin according to your individual wishes.
